Research Fellow (25 November 2016)

Job Description & Specifications 

The job involves design of video games for educational purposes. The candidate need to work in a small team for developing interactive video games that can be used for teaching in undergraduate/graduate-level engineering subjects. The basic framework for designing games is available, upon which, the candidate needs to develop further enhancements for creating characters, storylines, porting to different environments (Android, iOS) and also integrating internal rating systems for gauging the performance of a gamer. The project is unique and has significant potential to create lasting impact on how university-level courses are taught. Candidate should be open to teamwork, fast learner and passionate about video games. 

Job Requirements Education: PhD in CS or EEE. 

Skills: Programming knowledge in C, C++, Scripting languages (Matlab, Python, Shell), Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Strong expertise in video game design using open-source and/or commercial game design environments are desirable.
