  • Design and create responsive and fast User Interface (UI) of the system

Responsibilities:

  • To design and implement the UI and game mechanics that are in line with the project purpose
  • To design and implement the back-end platform, including data storage and retrieval functionality.
  • To collaborate with other teams at MAGIC in using internally developed technologies.
  • To participate in the research centre's publicity activities.
  • To assist research duties (e.g. writing papers).
  • To perform administrative duties (e.g. writing quarterly and annual reports).

Job Requirements: 

  • Master's degree in Computer Science from reputable universities.
  • Interest and experience in front-end and back-end technologies in game development.
  • Experienced in Unity3D game engine.
  • Familiarity with C# and PHP programming languages.
  • Familiarity with web application development using PHP MVC framework (e.g. Laravel, Yii2).
  • Familiarity with database technologies (RDBMS/NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with software documentation technologies (e.g. Doxygen).
  • Familiarity with Virtual Reality and game networking concepts will be a plus.
  • Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Professional experience in the game industry will be a plus.
  • Professional qualifications (e.g. Unity certified developer) will be a plus.
